Marianne Crebassa is a French mezzo-soprano rapidly gaining international recognition for her compelling stage presence and richly colored voice. Born in 1985, she initially trained as a cellist before dedicating herself to vocal studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.

Crebassa’s career blossomed with baroque repertoire, particularly the works of Handel and Vivaldi. She’s critically acclaimed for her interpretations of roles like Rosina in *Il barbiere di Siviglia* and Sesto in *Giulio Cesare*, performing with renowned opera houses including the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden; the Metropolitan Opera; and the Opéra national de Paris.

Beyond opera, Crebassa actively champions French *mélodie*, collaborating frequently with pianist David Kadouch – their joint albums dedicated to Fauré and Chausson have garnered widespread praise. Her discography also includes a Grammy-nominated recording of Ravel's *Shéhérazade* with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Daniel Harding. Known for her dramatic intensity and technical agility, Crebassa consistently receives accolades for bringing fresh perspective to both established and lesser-known works.
