Marc Sway (born Marc Swaigan, July 29, 1986) is a Samoan-New Zealand singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for his soulful blend of reggae, funk, soul, and acoustic influences. He rose to prominence in New Zealand after winning the nationwide music competition *Pacific Break* in 2005.

Sway’s self-titled debut album, released in 2006, achieved gold status and spawned the hit single “Brother,” which topped New Zealand charts and earned him multiple New Zealand Music Awards nominations including Single of the Year and Best Male Solo Artist. He followed with *You Choose* (2008) and *Between the Lines* (2011), continuing to explore themes of love, family, and Pacific Island heritage within his music.

Characterized by his distinctive vocal tone and intricate guitar work, Sway's style often incorporates elements of spoken word poetry. Beyond recording, he’s a respected live performer consistently touring throughout New Zealand and internationally, including performances at festivals like Raggamuffin. He continues to release music independently and remains a significant figure in the New Zealand music scene.
