Experience Magnificent Danger

Magnificent Danger is the collaborative electronic music project of Danish producers Anders Trentemøller and Casper Clausen, formed in 2016. Both artists were already established individually; Trentemøller renowned for his atmospheric techno and soundtrack work (including scores for *The Last Black Man in San Francisco*), and Clausen as vocalist for the critically acclaimed indie band, Sick Sidey.

Their sound blends Trentemøller’s production expertise with Clausen’s distinctive, often melancholic vocals, creating a dark and cinematic electronica. Influences range from trip-hop and ambient to post-punk and experimental sound design.

Magnificent Danger released their self-titled debut album in 2018 to positive reviews, praised for its immersive textures and emotional depth. They followed this with *II* in 2021, further solidifying their unique aesthetic. The project emphasizes a live performance element, incorporating visual components alongside their sonic landscapes. They've toured extensively across Europe, showcasing their captivating stage presence and consistently delivering atmospheric, emotionally resonant shows. Their work has been featured in publications like Pitchfork and Resident Advisor, cementing their position within the contemporary electronic music scene.
