Ludmil Angelov is a Bulgarian classical guitarist renowned for his interpretations of both established repertoire and contemporary works. Born in Ruse, Bulgaria, he began guitar studies at age five and quickly distinguished himself, winning numerous national and international competitions including first prize at the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition in 2014.

Angelov’s playing is characterized by technical brilliance, nuanced phrasing, and a deeply expressive tone. He frequently performs as a soloist with orchestras worldwide and maintains an active recital schedule across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. His repertoire spans from Bach and Sor to Villa-Lobos and Piazzolla, alongside commissioning and premiering pieces by living composers like Dusan Bogdanovic.

He holds degrees from the National Music Academy "Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia and the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto where he studied with David Russell. Angelov's debut album, *Suite Dreams*, received critical acclaim for its artistry and virtuosity. Currently, he serves as a faculty member at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, continuing to perform and inspire future generations of guitarists.
