Born in 1946 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Nocentelli’s guitar style is characterized by its tight, rhythmic precision and innovative blend of funk, R&B, and soul. His distinctive playing helped define the sound of New Orleans funk during the late 1960s and 1970s.
