Experience Leïla Duclos
Leïla Duclos is a French-Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, gaining recognition for her distinctive blend of dream pop, indie folk, and electronic soundscapes. Born in Montreal, she began releasing music independently in the early 2010s, initially garnering attention for her ethereal vocals and intimate lyrical content.
Duclos’s breakthrough came with her 2017 EP *Fragments*, followed by the critically acclaimed album *There's a Way* (2019), produced with Hubert Lenoir. The album earned her a nomination for Francophone Album of the Year at the ADISQ Awards (Quebec’s equivalent to the Grammys). Her music often explores themes of vulnerability, self-discovery, and the complexities of relationships.
Known for crafting atmospheric arrangements utilizing synths, layered vocals, and acoustic instrumentation, Duclos has toured extensively across Canada and Europe, supporting artists like Hubert Lenoir and Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood (as part of his project, The Reassurance). Her latest release, *D'où viennent les étoiles* (2023), continues to showcase her evolving sound and poetic songwriting.
