Larry Brown Jr. is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer rapidly gaining recognition for his uniquely textured blend of jazz, soul, and electronic music. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Brown’s musical foundation was deeply rooted in the city’s vibrant jazz scene, fostered by his father, renowned bassist Larry Brown Sr. He initially gained prominence as a drummer, touring extensively with Jill Scott and Musiq Soulchild.

However, Brown has increasingly focused on his solo work, showcasing his proficiency on keys, guitar, and bass alongside his drumming. His 2018 debut album *Bread & Butter* established his signature sound – warm harmonic palettes layered with intricate rhythms and improvisational elements.

He followed this with *Promises of Light* (2020) and *Sunlight* (2023), further solidifying his artistic vision.
