Krokofant is a Norwegian jazz-rock trio known for their explosive fusion of progressive rock, jazz improvisation, and experimental soundscapes. Formed in 2011, the band consists of guitarist Tom Hasslan, drummer Axel Skalstad, and bassist Jørgen Mathisen. Their music is characterized by intricate rhythms, dynamic interplay, and a fearless approach to genre-blending that pushes the boundaries of contemporary jazz.

Krokofant’s style draws heavily from 1970s prog rock legends like King Crimson and Mahavishnu Orchestra while incorporating modern jazz sensibilities and raw rock energy.
