Keri-Lynn Wilson is a Canadian-American conductor, violinist, and pianist renowned for her versatile musicianship and dedication to contemporary opera. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she received violin training at the Juilliard School and furthered her conducting studies with Leonard Slatkin at the National Conducting Institute.

Wilson’s career blossomed initially as a violinist, performing as concertmaster with several orchestras. However, she transitioned to conducting, quickly gaining recognition for her interpretations of 20th and 21st-century works. She’s particularly celebrated for championing operas by composers like Philip Glass, John Adams, and Nico Muhly.

Notable engagements include serving as Principal Guest Conductor of the Ópera de Canarias and conducting productions at prestigious houses such as the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, English National Opera, Houston Grand Opera, and San Francisco Opera. She made history in 2019 becoming the first woman to conduct a mainstage opera at the Vienna State Opera in over a decade – *Katya Kabanova*.
