Kari van der Kloot is a Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist renowned for her deeply emotive vocals and intricate fingerstyle guitar playing. Emerging in the early 2000s, she initially gained recognition performing as part of the duo Po' Girl with Colleen Sexton, releasing three critically acclaimed albums including *Hot Between the Wire* (2005) and *Lawless Land* (2007).

Since embarking on a solo career, van der Kloot has released four full-length albums – *Organic Heart* (2013), *Haywire* (2016), *All The Angels* (2019 - nominated for a Juno Award for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year), and *Never Be Together* (2023). Her music blends elements of folk, blues, and jazz, often exploring themes of love, loss, and social commentary.

Van der Kloot is celebrated for her captivating live performances and distinctive slide guitar technique. She’s toured extensively across Canada and Europe, sharing stages with artists like Neko Case and Kathleen Edwards. Beyond performing, she's also an accomplished producer, contributing to projects by other independent artists.
