The Juilliard Orchestra is the premier orchestral ensemble at The Juilliard School, consistently recognized as one of the most highly regarded training orchestras globally. Composed of pre-professional orchestral musicians – primarily students pursuing degrees in orchestral performance – the orchestra provides invaluable experience preparing for professional careers.

Founded in 1905, the ensemble has a rich history of performing standard orchestral repertoire alongside contemporary works, often collaborating with leading composers and conductors. They regularly appear at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and have undertaken international tours, showcasing American talent abroad.
