Jordan von Haslow is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer known for his atmospheric and emotionally resonant electronic music. Initially gaining recognition as half of the critically acclaimed duo, Com Truise (alongside Seth Haley), von Haslow contributed significantly to their signature retro-futuristic synthwave sound, particularly in sound design and live performance from 2009-2019.
Following Com Truise’s indefinite hiatus, von Haslow embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut album *VOID* in 2022 via Ghostly International. This project marks a stylistic departure, leaning into ambient textures, experimental soundscapes, and incorporating elements of IDM and post-rock. *VOID* received positive reviews for its immersive qualities and introspective themes.
He's also a sought-after remixer, having worked with artists like Tycho. Beyond production, von Haslow is a skilled visual artist contributing to the aesthetic direction of his projects and previous Com Truise artwork. His work consistently explores themes of memory, nostalgia, and the intersection of technology and emotion. He continues to tour both as a solo artist and occasionally revisiting Com Truise material.
