Johanna Wallroth is a Swedish-born, Los Angeles-based vocalist, composer, and sound artist known for her experimental and deeply personal approach to music. Initially trained classically in opera at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, Wallroth transitioned towards improvisation and extended vocal techniques, forging a unique style blending elements of jazz, contemporary classical, and electronic music.

Her discography includes critically acclaimed albums like *Signals* (2016) and *Paloma* (2023), released on the Room40 label, renowned for its commitment to adventurous soundscapes. *Paloma* specifically garnered praise for its exploration of voice as texture and its emotionally resonant compositions inspired by the writings of Clarice Lispector.
