He is best known for his long-running radio show *On air* (originally *Zig’Zag*) on France Inter, where he improvises musical responses to listener calls – creating entirely new pieces based on their stories and emotions. This has established him as a popular figure beyond classical music circles.

Zygel has released numerous albums including *Solo*, *Improvisations sur des silences*, and collaborations with artists like Youn Sun Nah.
