Jamaal Cody is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and vocalist forging a unique path within contemporary jazz and soul. Originally from Philadelphia, Cody honed his skills performing with gospel choirs and studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. He gained prominence as a member of Robert Glasper Experiment, contributing significantly to their Grammy-winning album *Black Radio* (2012) – notably co-writing and featuring on the track “Afro Blue” alongside Erykah Badu.

Cody’s solo work demonstrates a sophisticated blend of neo-soul, jazz improvisation, and electronic textures. His debut EP, *At The Outpost* (2017), showcased his lyrical depth and intricate arrangements. He's collaborated with artists like Terrace Martin, Jill Scott, and Musiq Soulchild, further solidifying his reputation as a sought-after musician.

Beyond performance, Cody is an active educator, leading workshops and masterclasses focused on vocal technique and harmonic exploration.
