Jackson Mathod is a Swiss-born, Los Angeles-based musician, composer, and producer known for his innovative blend of jazz harmony, electronic soundscapes, and cinematic arrangements. Initially gaining recognition as a keyboardist and arranger for Knxwledge and quickly becoming a sought-after collaborator within the Stones Throw Records orbit, Mathod transitioned to a prominent solo career.

His debut album, *Holiday*, released on Leaving Records in 2018, established his signature style – intricate compositions characterized by warm Rhodes piano tones, layered textures, and subtly shifting rhythms. He followed this with *Days of Vintage*, further refining his atmospheric approach. Mathod’s work frequently incorporates field recordings and samples, creating immersive sonic environments.

Beyond his albums, he’s contributed production to artists like Anderson .Paak (appearing uncredited on *Malibu*), Pink Siifu and Navy Blue. He’s also scored several short films and commercials. Mathod’s music has been praised for its emotional depth, sophisticated harmonic language, and ability to bridge the gap between experimental electronic music and accessible jazz sensibilities. He continues to tour internationally and release new material independently.
