Ingo de Haas is a Dutch jazz pianist and composer, renowned for his deeply introspective and harmonically sophisticated approach to the genre. Emerging in the early 2010s, he quickly gained recognition for his trio work, initially alongside bassist Clemens van der Feen and drummer Jasper de Plus, releasing critically acclaimed albums like *Streets of New York* (2014) and *Two Worlds* (2016) on Challenge Records.

De Haas’ style blends post-bop influences with a distinctly European sensibility, often incorporating elements of classical music and improvisation. He's noted for his lyrical playing, complex chord voicings, and a strong emphasis on melodic development. Beyond his trio, he frequently collaborates with leading international jazz musicians including Ben van den Dungen and Yuri Honing.

He has received numerous awards including the prestigious “Jazz Meeting” prize in Belgium (2013) and was nominated for an Edison Jazzism Award in the Netherlands.
