Il Volo is an acclaimed Italian operatic pop trio formed in 2009, consisting of Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto, and Gianluca Ginoble. Renowned for blending classical opera with contemporary pop, their powerful tenor voices have captivated global audiences, bridging generations and musical genres. The group rose to prominence after winning the Sanremo Music Festival’s Newcomers category in 2015 with the song "Grande Amore," which became a signature hit and propelled them onto the international stage.

Their style is characterized by rich vocal harmonies and a fusion of traditional Italian melodies with modern arrangements, often described as “popera.” Il Volo’s repertoire spans classic operatic arias, romantic ballads, and original compositions, showcasing their versatility and technical prowess. They have collaborated with legendary artists such as Barbra Streisand and Placido Domingo, further solidifying their status in both classical and popular music circles.
