Hotel Bossa Nova is the project of Brazilian-born, Los Angeles-based musician and producer, Bruno Bellissimo. Initially gaining traction through self-released tracks on SoundCloud in 2017, the project quickly evolved from lo-fi house explorations into a signature blend of bossa nova, deep house, and downtempo electronica. Bellissimo’s background in jazz guitar heavily influences his harmonic sensibilities and melodic construction.

He’s released music on prominent labels including MRBongo, offering a contemporary take on classic Brazilian sounds. His debut album, *Paraiso*, released in 2021, received critical acclaim for its lush arrangements and nostalgic atmosphere, garnering features in publications like *Pitchfork* and *Resident Advisor*.

Hotel Bossa Nova's style is characterized by warm textures, subtle percussion, and often incorporates field recordings evoking a sense of place – specifically Rio de Janeiro. He’s remixed for artists like Parcels and consistently tours internationally, bringing his vibrant live sets to festivals and clubs globally.
