Emerging in the late 1980s, Neven initially gained recognition as a member of the influential trance project, Active Culture, contributing significantly to early rave anthems like “Lift Me Up.” He transitioned to a solo career focusing on ambient soundscapes and melodic electronic compositions.

Neven’s style blends atmospheric textures with driving rhythms, often incorporating elements of classical music and world music influences. He's released numerous albums under his own name, including critically acclaimed works like *Pulse* (1993) and *Liquid Skies* (1996), establishing a distinctive sound that bridges the gap between dance music and contemplative listening.
