Hattler is a renowned German musician and bassist, best known as the driving force behind the influential band De-Phazz. With a career spanning over three decades, Hattler has carved a unique niche in the music world by blending jazz, electronic, funk, and soul into a sophisticated sound often described as "nu-jazz" or "acid jazz." Starting his musical journey in the early 1980s, Hattler first gained recognition as the bassist for Kraan, a progressive rock and jazz fusion band that achieved critical acclaim in Europe. Later, he founded De-Phazz in the late 1990s, which became an international success with albums like *Detunized Gravity* (1997) and *Godsdog* (2001).
