Hannah Brine is a Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, originally from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, now based in Montreal. She initially gained recognition as one half of the indie-folk duo, Twin Peaks (not to be confused with the American band of the same name), releasing an EP in 2015.

Transitioning to a solo career, Brine released her debut album *Songs About Dying* in 2019, garnering critical acclaim for its raw emotionality and intricate arrangements. Her music blends elements of indie folk, chamber pop, and art rock, often featuring layered vocals, harp, and unconventional instrumentation.

Brine’s songwriting explores themes of grief, memory, and personal transformation with lyrical depth and vulnerability. She's toured extensively across Canada and Europe, supporting artists like Patrick Watson and performing at festivals including Suoni Per Il Popolo. In 2023 she released her second full-length album *I'm Not The Problem*, further solidifying her reputation as a compelling and innovative artist within the Canadian independent music scene. Her work has been featured on CBC Music and praised for its atmospheric soundscapes and poetic lyricism.
