Guillemette Daboval is a French-Canadian vocalist and composer rapidly gaining recognition for her unique blend of jazz, folk, and contemporary improvisation. Born in Montreal, she initially trained classically in voice before gravitating towards jazz studies at McGill University. Daboval’s distinct style centers around her rich, emotive vocal tone and intricate vocal layering techniques, often utilizing looping and extended vocal techniques to create atmospheric soundscapes.

Her debut album, *Reverberation*, released in 2021, garnered critical acclaim for its innovative approach to vocal jazz and earned her a nomination for the Juno Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year in 2022.
