Grigorii Palamarchuk is a Ukrainian pianist and composer rapidly gaining international recognition for his intensely emotional and technically virtuosic performances. Born in 1993, he began piano studies at age five and quickly demonstrated exceptional talent, graduating with honors from the National Music Academy of Ukraine (Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine) under Professor Dina Yakovlevna Oleshchuk.
Palamarchuk’s repertoire spans a broad range, from Bach and Beethoven to Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev, but he’s particularly known for his deeply expressive interpretations of Romantic-era composers. He frequently incorporates improvisational elements into his live performances, creating a unique and captivating experience.
He has won numerous international competitions, including the First Prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Hartford, Connecticut (2018) and the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition “Virtuosos of the World” in New York (2021). Palamarchuk actively tours Europe and North America, performing in prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and the Philharmonie Berlin. His debut album, featuring works by Rachmaninoff and Chopin, received critical acclaim for its passionate delivery and technical brilliance.
