Funk For Forest (real name: Elias Rahimi) is a Swedish multi-instrumentalist, producer, and DJ known for his unique blend of house, techno, and organic, often nature-sampled, sounds. Emerging in the early 2010s, he initially gained recognition through self-released tracks and mixes gaining traction within the deep house community.

His breakthrough came with releases on labels like Local Talk and Shall Not Fade, establishing a signature style characterized by warm basslines, intricate percussion, and field recordings evoking natural environments – hence the moniker. He’s consistently championed a sound deeply rooted in groove and atmosphere over aggressive drops.

Funk For Forest has toured extensively across Europe and beyond, playing prominent festivals including Dekmantel and Freerotation. He runs the imprint Night Breeze Records alongside fellow artist Mall Grab, focusing on showcasing emerging talent within similar sonic territories. Beyond DJing & production, he's a skilled live performer incorporating hardware instruments into his sets.
