Florian Boesch is a highly acclaimed German lyric tenor, internationally recognized for his interpretations of Mozart, Strauss, and Schubert. Born in Munich in 1976, he initially studied law before dedicating himself fully to vocal performance, graduating from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. Boesch’s career blossomed after winning several prestigious competitions, including the International Vocal Competition ‘s-Hertogenbosch in 2003.

He is a frequent guest at leading opera houses worldwide, including the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Metropolitan Opera, and the Vienna State Opera. Boesch’s repertoire focuses on roles demanding vocal elegance and dramatic sensitivity – notably Tamino in *The Magic Flute*, Belmonte in *The Abduction from the Seraglio*, and Werther.

Known for his clear diction, refined phrasing, and expressive legato line, critics consistently praise his nuanced portrayals.
