Finely Tuned Elephant is the project of multi-instrumentalist and producer, Alex G. O’Connor, originating from Bristol, UK. Initially gaining traction in the late 2010s, O’Connor self-released a string of EPs showcasing a distinctive blend of lo-fi bedroom pop, jazz-influenced harmonies, and electronic textures. His sound often incorporates layered vocals, subtle sampling, and a deliberately imperfect aesthetic, creating a nostalgic yet forward-thinking atmosphere.

Early releases like “Still” (2018) and “Echoes in the Static” (2019) garnered attention on platforms like Bandcamp and Spotify's Fresh Finds playlists. He signed with PRAH Recordings in 2020, releasing his debut album *Broken Vessels* to critical acclaim – praised for its intimate songwriting and atmospheric production.
