Felix Kramer is a German composer, pianist, and sound artist renowned for his minimalist and subtly evolving compositions. Initially gaining recognition through self-released albums on Bandcamp beginning in 2018, Kramer’s work quickly attracted a dedicated following within the modern classical and ambient music scenes. His style blends elements of Erik Satie, Brian Eno, and Nils Frahm, characterized by delicate piano melodies, atmospheric textures created with synthesizers and field recordings, and a focus on harmonic resonance.

Kramer’s breakthrough album, *Plays*, released on Erased Tapes in 2022, received widespread critical acclaim from publications like The Guardian and Pitchfork. He's known for his immersive live performances featuring extended piano pieces and reactive lighting systems. Beyond album releases, Kramer frequently scores for film and contemporary dance. He studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg. His music often explores themes of memory, space, and the passage of time – creating emotionally resonant soundscapes that are both introspective and expansive. He continues to tour internationally and release new material independently alongside his work with Erased Tapes.
