Federico Casagrande is an Italian composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist renowned for his emotionally resonant and cinematic electronic music. Initially gaining recognition as one half of the acclaimed duo Mathame alongside his brother Alessandro, Casagrande has since established a flourishing solo career. His work blends elements of melodic techno, ambient, and progressive house, often incorporating organic instrumentation and field recordings to create immersive soundscapes.

Following Mathame’s success on labels like Diynamic and Afterlife, releasing tracks like “Afterlife” (a collaboration with Tale Of Us) which became an anthem within the melodic techno scene, Casagrande launched his solo project in 2021. He quickly garnered support from industry leaders with releases on Afterlife Recordings including his EP "Ethereal" and subsequent singles.

Casagrande’s compositions are characterized by their atmospheric depth, intricate sound design, and focus on evoking strong emotional responses. He frequently performs live, showcasing his ability to translate his studio productions into captivating performances.
