Erin Helyard is an Australian harpsichordist and fortepianist rapidly gaining international recognition for his dynamic and historically informed performances. Initially trained as a modern pianist, Helyard transitioned to specialising in 17th- to 19th-century keyboard instruments, mastering the harpsichord, fortepiano, and clavichord. He is a founding member and artistic director of the acclaimed baroque ensemble, Pinchgut Opera in Sydney, significantly contributing to its reputation for innovative and scholarly productions.

Helyard’s discography includes critically praised recordings on the ABC Classics label, notably albums featuring Domenico Scarlatti sonatas and collaborations with singers like Danielle Agostinelli.
