Elliott Yamin is an American singer-songwriter gaining prominence through his impactful run on the fifth season of *American Idol* in 2006, finishing as runner-up. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Yamin’s musical foundation lies in a diverse range of influences – R&B, soul, pop, and rock – resulting in a signature sound often described as “soulful pop.”
