Elia Cecino is a Peruvian-born, Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer rapidly gaining recognition for his unique blend of Latin American folklore and electronic music. Initially known for his work with the experimental cumbia collective Bareket Salom & The Free Spirit, Cecino launched his solo career in 2018 with the EP *Cercanía*.

His sound draws heavily from Andean rhythms, particularly those of his native Peru, incorporating traditional instruments like the *cajón* and *zampoña* alongside synthesizers, drum machines, and field recordings. Cecino’s debut album, *Entre Mundos* (2023), released on Glitterbeat Records, received critical acclaim for its atmospheric textures and exploration of cultural identity.

He has toured extensively throughout Europe and North America, performing at festivals like Roskilde and Unsound. Beyond solo work, Cecino continues to collaborate with artists across genres, demonstrating versatility as both a performer and producer.
