Dreamless Night is the atmospheric black metal solo project of Italian multi-instrumentalist and producer, Francesco Bardini. Emerging in 2018, the project quickly gained recognition within the underground scene for its meticulously crafted soundscapes blending traditional black metal elements with ambient, post-rock, and shoegaze influences.

Bardini is also a member of several other projects including Hideous Clarity and Moongazer, but Dreamless Night serves as his primary creative outlet for longer-form compositions. The music eschews typical black metal aggression in favor of immersive atmospheres, utilizing layered guitars, echoing vocals (often buried within the mix), and dynamic drumming.

To date, Dreamless Night has released three full-length albums: *Eternal Absence* (2018), *Sarath* (2020), and **Passage*** (2023) – all via Debemur Martin Productions. *Passage* received critical acclaim from outlets like Invisible Oranges and Metal Injection, solidifying the project’s reputation for sophisticated songwriting and evocative emotional depth. Bardini’s production skills are integral to the Dreamless Night sound, creating a distinctly vast and melancholic sonic experience.
