Donna Brown is a highly respected American vocalist, songwriter, and arranger specializing in jazz, blues, and gospel. Emerging prominently in the 1990s, she initially gained recognition as a featured vocalist with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra under Wynton Marsalis, appearing on their Grammy-nominated album *Live in Swing!* (1994).

Brown’s style is deeply rooted in the tradition of Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan, showcasing remarkable scat singing ability alongside a rich, emotive vocal tone.
