DJ OOOchild, born Olivia Osby in Chicago, Illinois, began her career as a DJ in the early 2010s, initially gaining recognition within the local house music scene. She is currently signed to Teklife Records, a label founded by DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn, pivotal figures in the footwork genre. OOOchild’s style blends elements of juke, footwork, and house, characterized by rapid-fire sampling, intricate percussion patterns, and a focus on high energy.
Her debut EP, *Boom Boom*, released on Teklife in 2015, established her as a prominent voice in the burgeoning footwork community. Subsequent releases include the *Cosmic Flux* EP (2017) and contributions to various compilation albums on Teklife. In 2023 she released her first full-length album *None Shall Pass*.
OOOchild has toured extensively throughout North America and Europe, performing at festivals such as Movement Detroit and Boiler Room. She is also a producer and sound designer, frequently collaborating with other artists within the Teklife collective and beyond. Her work has been featured in publications including *Resident Advisor* and *Pitchfork*.
