DDK, born Daniel Kandi in London, England, is a prominent figure in the trance and progressive house music scenes. Rising to prominence in the early 2000s, he initially gained recognition for remixing tracks for artists like Above & Beyond, frequently collaborating with them and appearing on their Anjunabeats label. His sound is characterized by emotionally resonant melodies, driving basslines, and atmospheric textures – often described as uplifting trance with progressive elements.

DDK’s breakthrough came with tracks like “Elysian Fields” and “Horizon,” becoming staples in DJ sets worldwide. He's released multiple artist albums including *Universe* (2011) and *Solstice* (2017), showcasing his ability to craft full-length sonic experiences.
