Danielle Wertz is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and vocalist known for her emotionally resonant and intricately arranged indie folk music. Originally from Pennsylvania and now based in Nashville, Wertz began her musical journey classically trained in violin before expanding to guitar, piano, and banjo. Her self-produced debut album, *Ghost Orchard* (2018), garnered critical acclaim for its lyrical depth and atmospheric soundscapes.

Wertz’s style blends delicate fingerpicking with layered instrumentation, often incorporating strings and subtle electronic elements. She frequently explores themes of memory, loss, and the natural world. Following *Ghost Orchard*, she released the EP *Sleepwalking* (2020) showcasing further development of her signature sound.
