Dalia Stasevska is a Lithuanian-born conductor rapidly gaining international recognition for her dynamic interpretations and compelling stage presence. Trained at the Sibelius Academy under Leif Segerstam and Sakari Oramo, she further honed her skills with Jorma Panula. Stasevska served as Chief Conductor of the Sinfonia Lahti in Finland from 2020-2023, becoming the orchestra’s first female principal conductor.

Her repertoire spans a broad range, from standard orchestral works to contemporary compositions, with a particular affinity for Finnish composers like Sibelius. She's championed new music and actively promotes inclusivity within classical performance. Notable engagements include conducting the BBC Symphony Orchestra at the Proms (performing Kaija Saariaho’s *Asteroid Belt*), appearances with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, and collaborations with orchestras across Europe and North America.

Stasevska is praised for her insightful readings and ability to forge strong connections with orchestras and audiences alike. She received the Finnish Critics' Association prize for "Young Artist of the Year" in 2019, solidifying her position as a rising star in the conducting world.
