Crackazat, the project of French multi-instrumentalist and producer Guillaume Jambel, has carved a unique niche blending jazz improvisation with electronic music production since its inception in 2007. Initially rooted in live looping and beatboxing, Crackazat evolved to incorporate influences from broken beat, drum & bass, and global sounds – particularly Afrobeat and Latin jazz.

Jambel’s performances are renowned for their entirely live construction; utilizing Ableton Live, samplers, and a variety of instruments (guitar, bass, keys), he builds intricate arrangements on the fly. This improvisational approach is central to his albums like *Crackazat* (2011), *Into the Clouds* (2013), and *Ascension* (2016), all released on the influential Parisian label Jarring Effects.

He's collaborated with artists including Alfa Mist, Swindle, and Nubiyan Twist, further solidifying his position within the contemporary jazz/electronic scene. Crackazat consistently tours internationally, captivating audiences with his dynamic live sets and demonstrating a rare mastery of both musical performance and technological innovation.
