Experience Cleopatrics

Cleopatrics are a Canadian alternative rock duo from Hamilton, Ontario, comprised of vocalist/guitarist Lakyn Brimstone and drummer Ian Fraser. Forming in 2017, they rapidly gained attention through independently released singles and a raw, DIY aesthetic showcased on platforms like YouTube. Their sound is characterized by heavily distorted guitar tones, driving rhythms, and Brimstone’s distinctive, emotive vocals – often described as blending elements of grunge, post-punk revival, and blues rock.

Initially achieving viral success with tracks like “Hush,” they built a dedicated online following before releasing their debut EP *Cleopatrics* in 2018. This was followed by the critically acclaimed album *When We Lost Our Heads* (2020), which further solidified their reputation for intense live performances and compelling songwriting.

In 2023, they released their second full-length album *Bedroom Demos*, offering a stripped-down perspective on their creative process. Cleopatrics have toured extensively, supporting artists like Nothing But Thieves and playing prominent festivals, establishing themselves as a rising force in the modern rock landscape. They maintain complete creative control over their music and visual presentation.
