Charmagne Tripp is a Canadian R&B and soul singer-songwriter hailing from Scarborough, Ontario. Initially gaining recognition as a member of the Toronto-based collective The Phantoms, she launched her solo career in 2015 with the EP *Feelings*. Tripp’s sound blends classic 90s R&B influences with contemporary production, often characterized by raw, honest lyricism and a distinctive vocal delivery emphasizing vulnerability and strength.

She signed with Rex Orange County’s label, Calypso Beats Records, in 2019, releasing her debut album *High Risk* to critical acclaim. The album explored themes of self-discovery and navigating relationships, earning praise for its intimate songwriting and sonic depth. Prior to *High Risk*, Tripp independently released several well-received singles and EPs that built a dedicated fanbase.

Beyond her recorded work, Charmagne is known for captivating live performances. She has toured extensively, including supporting Rex Orange County on tour and performing at prominent festivals.
