Experience Chanté Moore

Chanté Moore is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and actress whose career spans over three decades. Emerging in the early 1990s, she initially gained recognition as a protégé of Tevin Campbell, contributing vocals to his hit “Can We Talk.” Moore’s 1992 debut album, *Precious*, achieved platinum status, fueled by the success of singles like "Ex Boyfriend" and "So High."

Known for her powerful, four-octave vocal range and emotive delivery, Moore consistently delivers sophisticated and often jazz-infused R&B. Throughout the 90s, albums like *A Love Supreme* (1994) and *In Your Presence* (1998) solidified her position as a leading vocalist. She frequently collaborated with Babyface, notably on the duet “Sweat” (1997), which reached the Billboard Hot 100 Top 20.

Moore has received seven Grammy Award nominations throughout her career. Beyond music, she’s appeared in films like *For Better or Worse* (1995) and television shows including *Soul Food*.
