CASS (born Casey Shea on November 17, 1996) is an American singer-songwriter and producer based in Los Angeles, known for her distinctive blend of alternative R&B, dream pop, and electronic music. Initially gaining traction through self-released music on SoundCloud, CASS signed with Arista Records in 2019. Her debut EP, *Queen of Nudes*, released that same year, established her signature atmospheric soundscapes and intimate lyrical themes exploring vulnerability and female empowerment.

CASS's music is characterized by layered vocals, introspective songwriting, and a sophisticated production style often incorporating elements of trip-hop and downtempo beats. She independently handles much of her production, showcasing her technical skill. Following *Queen of Nudes*, she released the EP *Homebody* in 2020 which further expanded her fanbase.
