Bryn Ripley is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist, composer, and vocalist rapidly gaining recognition for her uniquely atmospheric and emotionally resonant music. Originally trained classically in violin and piano, Ripley’s sound blends elements of dream pop, ambient, and experimental electronic music, often incorporating field recordings and processed instrumentation.

She independently released her debut EP, *Silver Coast*, in 2018, followed by the critically acclaimed full-length album *Low Coda* (2021) on Constellation Records. *Low Coda* garnered praise for its intricate arrangements and haunting vocals, earning features in publications like *The Wire* and *Bandcamp Daily*.

Ripley’s work frequently explores themes of memory, landscape, and isolation. Beyond solo releases, she collaborates with various artists across disciplines including visual art and dance. She’s toured extensively throughout North America and Europe supporting artists like Grouper and Sarah Davachi. Her most recent release is the single “Specter” (2023), continuing to demonstrate her evolving sonic palette and commitment to immersive soundscapes. Ripley’s music is characterized by its delicate balance between fragility and power, establishing her as a compelling voice in contemporary experimental music.
