Brigitte Beraha is a critically acclaimed British vocalist and composer renowned for her deeply expressive and improvisational approach to jazz and contemporary vocal music. Born in Paris and raised in London, Beraha’s career spans over two decades, encompassing performance, composition, and education. She is a founding member of the vocal ensemble *NYC3*, alongside Norma Winstone and Sophie Walker, exploring extended vocal techniques and textural soundscapes.

Beraha's solo work, including albums like *Ephemeral Portraits* (2016) and *Chronology* (2019), showcases her remarkable range – from intimate balladry to complex rhythmic interplay – often drawing inspiration from poetry and personal narratives. Her compositions frequently feature intricate harmonies and subtle electronic processing.

A dedicated educator, she leads workshops internationally and holds a PhD in Jazz Composition from Goldsmiths, University of London.
