Experience Brian Setzer

Brian Setzer is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter renowned for reviving and evolving the sound of 1950s rockabilly. Initially gaining prominence as the founder and frontman of the Stray Cats in 1979, the band achieved international success with hits like “Stray Cat Strut” and “Rock This Town,” blending rockabilly with punk energy.

Following the Stray Cats’ initial breakup, Setzer launched a successful solo career, expanding his musical palette to include swing and big band jazz. His 1998 album *Dirty Boogie* earned him a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group. He continued exploring this direction with the Brian Setzer Orchestra, releasing critically acclaimed albums like *Jump Jive an’ Wail*.

Throughout his career, Setzer has sold millions of records worldwide and collaborated with artists spanning diverse genres. His signature style incorporates a hollow-body Gretsch guitar, upright bass driven rhythms, and a charismatic stage presence. He's influenced countless musicians and remains a vital force in keeping vintage American music alive, consistently touring and recording new material. He was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame in 2002.
