Bob Lanzetti is a highly respected American guitarist, composer, and arranger renowned for his extensive work with David Bowie across the *Let's Dance* (1983), *Tonight* (1984), *Never Let Me Down* (1987), and *Black Tie White Noise* (1993) albums, and subsequent tours. Initially gaining recognition in the New York studio scene during the 1970s, Lanzetti’s versatile guitar style blends rock, funk, jazz, and blues influences.

Beyond Bowie, he’s collaborated with a diverse range of artists including Patti Smith, Herbie Hancock, and Simple Minds. He contributed significantly to the signature guitar sounds of the ‘80s – notably the iconic riff on Bowie’s “Let’s Dance” – achieved through innovative use of effects and a meticulous approach to sonic texture.

Lanzetti also maintains a prolific career as a session musician and composer for film and television. He's released several solo albums showcasing his instrumental prowess and compositional skills, including *Sacred Geometry* (2002) and *Stars & Shadows* (2016).
