Billy Childs is an acclaimed American jazz pianist, composer, and arranger known for his innovative fusion of jazz, classical, and contemporary music. With a career spanning over four decades, Childs has established himself as a versatile artist whose work bridges genres while maintaining deep roots in jazz tradition. He first gained prominence as a member of the fusion group The Jazz Crusaders in the late 1970s before launching a successful solo career.
