Ben Sterling is a British multi-instrumentalist, composer, and record producer known for his work spanning jazz, funk, soul, and electronic music. Initially gaining recognition as a session musician playing keys for artists like Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei, and Alfa Mist, Sterling transitioned to a prominent solo career with the release of his debut EP *Florescence* in 2017.

His sound is characterized by intricate harmonic structures, sophisticated arrangements, and a blend of live instrumentation with electronic production techniques. He frequently utilizes the Rhodes piano and Wurlitzer electric piano as core elements of his compositions.

Sterling's debut album *Same Ground* (2023), released on Brownswood Recordings, received critical acclaim for its nuanced exploration of themes relating to identity and belonging.
