Belmont is the stage name of Dustin Belt, an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for his emotionally resonant indie folk and Americana music. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Belmont gained prominence through self-released EPs and consistent touring throughout the 2010s, building a dedicated fanbase organically. He signed with Tone Tree Music in 2018.

His sound is characterized by intimate vocals, fingerpicked acoustic guitar, and lyrical themes exploring vulnerability, loss, and the search for meaning. While rooted in folk traditions, Belmont incorporates elements of ambient textures and subtle electronic production, creating a uniquely atmospheric quality.

Belmont’s breakthrough album *After Effects* (2018) garnered critical acclaim for its raw honesty and sonic depth. He followed this with *The Restless*, released in 2021, further solidifying his reputation as a compelling storyteller. He’s shared stages with artists like Gregory Alan Isakov and The Ballroom Thieves, consistently praised for his captivating live performances.
